Our little angel turned 11 today! We spoke on the phone (several times) this morning and talked about the day she was born...hard to believe it was eleven years ago! I still remember it like it was yesterday. She is in PA with her dad's family right now and is looking forward to a family celebration of her birthday tomorrow. What a great way to start the year! Her nona knows of the best places to get pastries, breads and cakes, so I know Alexa's birthday cake (not chocolate!) will be extra-yummy & extra-special.
When Alexa returns home, we'll have our family celebration. My parents will be here for a long weekend & I have a *feeling* that a four layer coconut cake is in store for her!;) She will also be taking the Red Cross Life Saving Course and the Babysitting Class, which she's very excited about.
