The preparation for the dance included home-manicures and a hairstylist (me!) as well as some careful lip gloss preparation. When it was time to go, I was pleased to see that Daddy was as excited as his little princesses! He got all spiffy in a suit & tie and any girl would have been proud to be on his arm.
I definitely think that having been a single-parent for so long made Chris the most amazing dad...I still recall (when we were dating) when he complimented me on the type of braid I had in my hair. I was surprised that a guy would recognize (and call, by name) a fairly obscure braid-style (a herringbone) and asked how he knew? He had purchased a "hair style" guide so he could do Erin's hair when she was a little girl....awwww! He shows this same commitment to making his younger daughters feel so special and loved, which in turn, makes me love him more!
Ok, enough sap. Please enjoy a glimpse into a night out with Daddy!

When my little family arrived home, they were breathless with stories about the night! The girls each received a corsage (which they'll pin on their memory-boards) and a little acrylic plaque with the date & event etched on it, and a heart-shaped Mylar balloon. Daddy was worn out from dancing with the girls, but they all had a fabulous time!! It's so important for our girls to feel cherished and adored; we want them to know how special they are, always.
